Earrings - "Sun over Purple"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: These long, dramatic earrings are sure to make a statement. Hammered brass silver-tone circles enclose raw brass suns which, in turn, suspend beguiling faceted premium Czech glass teardrops, in charming shades of purple and mauve. All of the brass components are also covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):
Option A - Kite Stainless Steel with plastic backs

Caressed and nourished by the warm rays of the July sun, plums of all varieties are ripening. Their skins deepen in colour as the days pass, to the delight of fruit-eating creatures that come by from time to time to check on their meal’s progress. These lovely vignettes are essentially sun over purple.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 3 5/8”, 9.2 cm - slightly shorter if selecting Option A for earwires.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
