Earrings - "At Miller Pond"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: Raw brass rippled rhombus shapes were hammered and scratched for a more authentic effect. They are “framed” by little brass hammered hoops. The dangles hang freely from elongated brass connectors. All of the brass components are also covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

Miller Pond on Grand Manan Island is a blue eye tucked among lush forests, at the end of a winding road lined in the summer by emerald ferns and mosses. The sun loves its blue surface, and makes its sparkle from sunrise to sunset - tiny flashing messages being sent across the universe.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 1/2”, 6 cm - slightly longer if selecting Option B for earwires.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
