Earrings - "Ocean Shimmer at Dawn"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I do not often use the heart shape in my work but these open brass hearts spoke to me with a natural, organic innocence. I treated them to the Grand Manan patina - I applied to them some natural ingredients and then left them in the open and salty air of the Island. From the hearts, I suspended little streams of premium labradorite beads - highly faceted and flashing here and there with blue.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

On a clear morning on Grand Manan Island, at dawn, the ocean shimmers with a million tiny lights, as if happy to welcome the rising sun…….
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 1/2”, 6.5cm (slightly longer if you pick Option B for earwires).
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If they get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
