Earrings - "Aestus"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: Raw brass elongated, hammered connectors suspend heavily hammered raw brass circles, and little brass demi-lunes and drops, for a little movement. All of the brass components are also covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

Aestus means tide in Latin. One cannot consider the beauty of Grand Manan Island without picturing its amazing tides, ebbing and flowing with the regularity of a heartbeat.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 3”, 7.6 cm - slightly longer if selecting Option B for earwires.
