Earrings - "Little Galaxy"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: Imaginary little metal and brass planets, and a bright star or Sun (take your pick) dance together to form a little galaxy. The burst is accompanied by a halo - and the movement of the dangles invokes the constant movement of our universe. All of the metal components are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering them with different natural ingredients and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
