Earrings - "August Hoops"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I suspended charming premium Czech glass beads, in lovely shades of pink, purple and lilac with a slight gold Picasso finish, from raw brass hammered hoops. Along for the ride are elongated raw brass connectors, two per hoop. All of the raw brass components in these earrings are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

In August, the landscape on Grand Manan Island is lush and verdant and rich with summer’s treasure. Wild blackberries grow in meadows and at roadsides. Mosses and ferns enjoy summer’s warmth, and sunsets and sunrises light up the sky with streaks of purple. Everything is luscious and full. Gardens are overflowing and trees are heavy with fruit. Jewel tones everywhere - these earrings are reminiscent of that scene.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 3/4”, 7.2 cm - slightly shorter if selecting Option A for earwires. Hoop diameter: - just under 1” (2.4cm)
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
