Earrings - "Moon over Ferns"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: All of the raw brass components in these earrings are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive. Accompanying the hammered brass "moons" are rough, genuine ancient Roman glass beads, in a lovely shade of deep green, like the moon-lit green we would see on a summer night. The ancient glass is reminiscent of sea glass. The earrings will sway gently as you move.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

On those magical summer nights, when the moon is full and begins its journey by rising over the ocean, there is a silence over the landscape as if Mother Nature were holding her breath, in awe. As the golden orb travels across the sky, it makes its way over the field of ferns too, and she can watch its arc through the panoramic windows on the southern side. And the ferns bow their fronds in a silent dance.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 1/2”, 6.4cm - slightly shorter if selecting Option A for earwires.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
