Earrings - "Dreaming of Spring"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: Raw brass circles, in silver-tone and bronze, and little raw brass flowers dance together to form little chandeliers. All of the brass components are also covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina on the circles and the flowers is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive. The blue/green patina on the little flowers is hard to achieve and is “fragile” - I have protected it by applying Modge Podge to the flowers to prevent it from chipping off.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):
