Necklace - "Prophetess"

This necklace was inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts. She gives them to us without expecting anything in return, except our love.
COMPONENTS: In this necklace, two raw brass triangles are joined to form a double-terminated pendant. I hammered these shapes and scratched them, for a more natural, authentic look. From this pendant I suspended a rare (no longer in production) Cabochette Swarovski crystal - for added balance, clarity and some clairvoyance. All of the brass components of the necklace are covered in heavy Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering them with natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open sky and salty air on Grand Manan Island - to “age”. The “chain” is made of patinated brass connectors. Small lobster-claw closure.
Grand Manan Island is a place where one can clear one’s mind - and not just for moments in time but for days at a time. It has a rich and fascinating geology - many scientist have come to the island to study it. Fernleigh Ridge is located on the Red Point Fault - and it’s actually possible to see it at the beach below, and to collect some magnetic sand. We believe this, and many other elements, contribute to the island’s unique atmosphere and properties - she is a prophetess in the Fundy Isle archipelago.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the necklace. Doing so may alter the patina on the raw brass. If the necklace gets wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
