Necklace - "Medusa"

This necklace was inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I patinated and hand-altered a little brass shield. I used natural ingredients to do so and left the shield in the open sky and salty air on Grand Manan Island - to “age”. From this little shield, I suspended brass and thread dangles: - from them hang various beads, including freshwater pearls, amazonite, amethyst, clear blue quartz, Swarovski crystal and Czech glass.
DIMENSIONS: Chain length: 31”, 78.7cm Pendant length: 6”, 15.2cm
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the necklace. Doing so will alter the patina, the thread and beads. If the necklace gets wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
