Necklace - "Helios Defender"

This necklace was inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: The star of this necklace is a large raw brass shield - I hammered it, shaped it, marked it, and scratched it, for a more authentic look. I then applied heat patina to the shield - using a torch - and that accounts for the suble colours on the brass. All of the brass components of the chain are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering them with natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open sky and salty air on Grand Manan Island - to “age”. Small lobster-claw closure.
DIMENSIONS: Chain length: approx. 25”, 63.5 cm (and you have some options here - you can hook the little lobster claw into any of the links to shorten it or we can shorten the chain for you, based on your request).
