Necklace - "Calm at Pettes Cove Beach"

This necklace was inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: The pendant in this necklace features an irregular rough beach stone, in a charming shade of grey, with thin lines running across it. We picked up this stone at Pettes Cove Beach on Grand Manan Island, overlooking the iconic Swallowtail Lighthouse. The pebble hangs from a “rusty” brass circle - covered in heavy Grand Manan Patina - the result of covering it with natural ingredients and leaving it in the open, salty air of the island to “age”. This particular circle was aged for several months with two re-applications, and then scratched and hammered for a more authentic look. The pendant hangs on a chain we created using oblong brass connectors, also hammered a little for additional effect. Small lobster-claw closure. Ideal for layering with other pieces.
