This necklace was inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: A hammered, scratched, holed and hand-painted metal “moon” suspends a genuine Swarovski crystal, faceted “drop”, in amazing hues of the aurora borealis. The “chain” is made of various raw brass connectors. There is no closure - it slips over your head.
The Moon loves Grand Manan Island. There are nights when it’s so large as it hangs over the horizon, it’s as if it wants to tell us something, convey a message, perhaps in poetic verses scrolling softly across the cratered face. It beckons for attention, making it virtually impossible not to notice it. If humans are so affected by its gaze, the fauna and flora of the island must be enchanted too, lending its ears to its eloquent presence.
