Eyeglass Holder - "Lupin Lane"
“Mother Nature seldom gives us perfectly straight lines or flawlessly shiny surfaces. Mother Nature is best at being raw, visceral and atmospheric.”
This eyeglass holder was inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: For this eyeglass holder, we used nylon thread, raw brass square beads, and glass beads in different shapes and sizes (Miyuki and others). Small elastic loops at each end of the holder will allow you to attach it to your glasses.
Lupins, symbols of the Maritimes, are abundant on Grand Manan Island in early summer. Like colourful sentinels, they dress up meadows, roadsides and the ocean shore. Whether the sky is bright blue or grey with rain clouds, they are as much of the island’s landscape in June as the sound of the foghorn.
DIMENSIONS: Holder length: approx. 28”, 71 cm - from the outside of one of the loops to the other.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
1. The photos are of a SAMPLE holder. Yours will be as close to the photos as possible; and
2. Do not submerge the eyeglass holder. Doing so may alter the patina on the brass beads. If the holder gets wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
EYEGLASSES NOT INCLUDED!
FREE SHIPPING - This item will ship from either New Brunswick or Ontario.
