Necklace - "A Slice of the Ocean"

This necklace was inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: The star of this necklace is a slice of electroplated quartz - like a slice of the ocean - blue with hints of gold. Its surface is irregular - dimpled and “active” - like the surface of the ocean in a medium breeze. The “chain” is made of various brass connectors (in brass, gold and silver-tone). Small lobster-claw closure.All of the brass components of the necklace are covered in heavy Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering them with natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open sky and salty air on Grand Manan Island - to “age”.
DIMENSIONS: Chain length: approx. 25”, 63.5 cm Pendant length: 1 1/2”, 4 cm
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the necklace. Doing so will alter the patina. If the necklace gets wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
