Earrings - "Wise Moon"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: These dangle earrings feature premium Czech glass beads showing half-moons surrounded by tiny stars. The colour is hard to describe - purple/blue/indigo/violet - definitely beguiling! All of the brass components are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

A wise moon floated over Grand Manan Island guiding the fishermen on their nightly jaunt into the Bay. His face had a purple hue that very night - embellished by memories of the four seasons and their unique gifts. “Mother Nature is bountiful in her generosity but sometimes taken for granted” whispered the wise moon. And the night fairies looked up into the sky.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 1/2”, 6.3 cm - slightly shorter if selecting Option A for earwires.

Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
