Earrings - "Wild Iris at Anchorage"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I hammered and scratched feminine brass hoops and covered them in the Grand Manan Patina - the result of applying natural ingredients and leaving the pieces in the open, salty air of the island to “age”. From the hoops, I suspended charming premium quality, faceted Czech glass beads - in incredible shades of blue, purple and lilac, with a subdued golden brass Picasso finish…. These small beads are finished off with tiny Miyuki seed beads, in iridescent white.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):
Option A - Kite Stainless Steel with plastic backs
OR
Option B - Almond Stainless Steel with closure - please select at CHECKOUT
The beads in these earrings are reminiscent of the wild iris flashing with pops of colour in the summer meadows on Grand Manan Island. You can also find them on the shores of Long Pond at Anchorage, along the poetic road that runs between the beach and the pond. In June, swallows zig-zag to and from their birdhouses, celebrating the best of summer.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2”, 5cm (slightly longer if you pick Option B for earwires).
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
