Earrings - "May Breeze"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: Roughly scratched and hammered ridged raw brass ovals suspend raw brass hammered chandelier-like shapes, with moving brass elongated dangles. All of the brass components are also covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

Grand Manan Island is home to ocean breezes - situated in the Bay of Fundy, it welcomes winds of varying velocity throughout the year. In May, with Spring in full bloom, the breeze carries with it the scent of lush grasses and ferns, rhododendron and cherry blossom.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 3”, 7.5cm - slightly longer if selecting Option B for earwires.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
