Earrings - "Seven Days Work"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: Roughly scratched and hammered raw brass ovals suspend raw brass hammered chandelier-like shapes, with moving brass honeycomb dangles. The upper ovals are “framed” with hammered hoops. All of the brass components are also covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):
Option A - Kite Stainless Steel with plastic backs

Option B - Almond Stainless Steel with closure - please select at CHECKOUT
Grand Manan Island features many steep cliffs and rock formations, particularly in the western and north-western part of the island. Seven Days Work is one such location, and legend has it the cliffs here took The Creator 7 days to build - she clearly had her hands full with this particular project.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 1/4”, 5.7cm - slightly longer if selecting Option B for earwires.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
