Earrings - "The Fishing Life"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: The demi-lune raw brass connectors in these earrings are reminiscent of the fishing boats that dot the surface of the Bay of Fundy throughout the year. They are all covered in the Grand Manan patina - the result of applying to them different natural ingredients and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the island to “age”. The patina is raw, meaning that it will continue to bloom as you wear the earrings - with very slight alterations here and there, as if the metal were alive. The natural and random variations in the colour of the patina create a 3-dimensional feel to the metal. Aquas, bronzes and browns dance together and represents the colours of Grand Manan Island through the seasons.
