Earrings - "Florette"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: In these feminine dangle earrings, I paired various textures and hues, as well as raw brass and silvertone metal (on a brass base). The earrings will stay demurely as you move. All of the brass components are also covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 3/4”, 7 cm - slightly shorter if selecting Option A for earwires.
There are many meadows on Grand Manan Island, including along Red Point Road in Seal Cove. In Spring, Summer and Fall, they enchant with poetic Maritimes flora, including flowers like lupins, daisies, wild iris, fireweed, black-eyed susans and beach peas. At dawn, Mother Nature adorns her artwork with tiny droplets of dew, making the scene sparkle and shimmer. Come, see it for yourself….

Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
