Earrings - "Embrace"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: In these unique earrings, I paired raw brass elements with different treatments, to form two-part circles. The solid demi-lunes are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive. The open demi-lunes feature untreated but hammered raw brass - the hue is a lot brighter - they will mute slightly over time. I added tiny brass drops for more movement.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):
Option A - Kite Stainless Steel with plastic backs
OR
Option B - Almond Stainless Steel with closure - please select at CHECKOUT
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 1/4”, 5.6 cm - slightly longer if selecting Option B for earwires.
The harmony and balance created by the play of the land and ocean on Grand Manan Island is like a full circle, replenishing itself without end. It’s as if they are embracing.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue
