Earrings - "Summer Night Alchemy"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I hammered and scratched small raw brass demi-lunes. From these, I suspended raw brass rhombus shapes, depicting the phases of the moon, and blue/green premium Czech glass rhombus beads, slightly opalescent on one side. All of the brass and copper components are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering them with different natural ingredients and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

As the Moon travels across the heavens during the summer months, at night woodland fairies bathe in the ocean by its silver light. As midnight nears, they don their muslin frocks and twig crown, and make delicious potions out of herbs and flowers that bloom only at night. Summer night alchemy.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 3 1/2”, 9cm - slightly shorter if selecting Option A for earwires.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
