Earrings - "Demi Lune"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: Roughly scratched, hammered and holed raw brass half-moons suspend dangles including charming premium Czech glass faceted beads, with an amazing aurora borealis finish. The facet edges are etched, for a more rustic effect. The brass components are also covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive. Each dangle ends in a tiny Miyuki seed bead.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

The Moon, in all of its phases including the demi-lune, loves Grand Manan Island and is a frequent visitor at Fernleigh Ridge. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
