Earrings - "Sunrise Sunset"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: Offset dangles of hammered raw brass suns and heavily hammered raw brass (silver-tone) ovals suspend charming premium Czech glass beads, with lovely ridges and firery sunrise/sunset colours on one side. All of the brass components are also covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):
Option A - Kite Stainless Steel with plastic backs

DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 3”, 7.6 cm - slightly shorter if selecting Option A for earwires.
On a perfect summer day, one without timetables or obligations, we watch the sun rise from our kitchen window and paint the horizon with its warm and colourful early rays. The ocean lights up with a shimmer, and gulls cry excitedly as the tide plays with the shore. Through the day, the sun accompanies us on our adventures and I often track its progress across the sky as I create in the worshop. Who needs a watch? As we wind down for the evening, the sun has by now reached the opposite side of the Ridge. The ancient trees surrounding our fern meadow are backlit, as if with an ancient fire, one that closes off the sky in the west for billions of years.

Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue
