Earrings - "Great Pond Shores"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: These earthy dangle earrings feature different hues, shapes and textures. Dots, dimples and scratches - just like in nature. I have hammered and scratched the raw brass shapes (including the hoops, in metal-tone) for a more natural, authentic look. All of the brass components are also covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering them with different natural ingredients and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

Great Pond on Grand Manan Island is a haven for fauna and flora. An important sanctuary for migrating birds, this serene pond is also a great “swimming hole” - loved by locals because of the sandy approach. Just over the grassy dunes is Anchorage Beach. The pond offers poetry to the eye each season - a subdued, meditative, introspective landscape that quitely feeds the soul.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 3/8”, 6.2 cm - slightly shorter if selecting Option A for earwires.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
