Earrings - "A Wish to Return"
“Mother Nature seldom gives us perfectly straight lines or flawlessly shiny surfaces. Mother Nature is best at being raw, visceral and atmospheric.”
These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: These feminine drop earrings will move with you as you make your way through the world. I hammered little raw brass ovals (in yellow brass and in metal-tone) for a more natural, authentic look. From them, I suspended frosted, genuine Roman glass drop beads, reminiscent of sea glass, in a lovely shade of aqua/ blue. All of the brass components are also covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering them with different natural ingredients and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 3/4”, 7cm - slightly shorter if selecting Option A for earwires.
Most visitors to Grand Manan Island have a wish to return.
