Earrings - "Philocalist"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: Understated and yet, very eloquent, these were inspired by the very essence of Grand Manan Island. The raw brass rhombus was holed and hammered by me for a more authentic, rustic feel. It is covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering it with different natural ingredients and then leaving it in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):
