Necklace - "Snowy Volcano Galaxy"

This necklace was inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: A hammered, scratched an otherwise hand-altered brass “half-moon” suspends a raw brass ridged connector and an articulated raw brass circle, hammered for a more natural look. From these I suspended a genuine Swarovski crystal pillar bead - in an amazing range of hues - red/orange/blue and indigo. All of the brass components of the necklace are covered in heavy Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering them with natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open sky and salty air on Grand Manan Island - to “age”. The “chain” is made of various raw brass connectors. Small lobster-claw closure.
DIMENSIONS: Chain length: approx. 28”, 71 cm Pendant length: 5”, 12.6 cm
You would have to travel through dark space for many, many earth years to reach the Snowy Volcano Galaxy, where winter’s breath rules the day, and all inhabitants wear little covers on each of their three noses to protect them from the frost. While most days are dark, once in a while a volcano warms up the scene, expelling fountains of red-hot lava into the frosty air and into the mountainous landscape. And all of the inhabitants cheer and take off their nose coverings, celebrating the warmth.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the necklace. Doing so will alter the patina and dangles. If the necklace gets wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
