Earrings - "The Bridge at Deep Cove"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: In these earthy, long earrings, I paired hammered and altered raw brass elements of different shapes, sizes and textures. At the ends of the dangles hand small Swarovski crystals, in a lovely share of moss green/olive. All of the brass components are also covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive. Incredibly lightweight, despite their size.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 3/4”, 7 cm - slightly shorter if selecting Option A for earwires.
As you drive to Deep Cove and its charming beach along the winding ribbon of Hwy 776, the road will begin curving at one point and then dip. You will come upon a bridge at the bottom of that dip - with water rushing under it, spilling into a tree-lined pool and then draining in a rush into the ocean. If you look left at the bridge as you cross it, you will see a postcard of the sky above an amazing beach below where driftwood is abundant along with Mother Nature’s gentle energy.

Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina on the brass. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
