Earrings - "Solar Folly"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I suspended charming, faceted, premium Czech glass beads, in lovely shades of blue and aqua, from raw brass sun shapes. These dangles are framed with raw brass, hammered hoops, for an extra-feminine touch. All of the raw brass components in these earrings are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
