Earrings - "Ebbing Tide"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: Raw brass components of different shapes and sizes join to create feminine, mobile dangles. I have added interested by off-setting the triangular shapes in each earring. All the brass pieces are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering them with different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to "age". These earrings will sway gently as you move.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

When the tide ebbs, and it does with amazing regularity on Grand Manan Island, our beaches are like an unfinished sculpture the artist momentarily left behind to watch the fishermen return to port with their catch. The sand is decorated with ripples, and tiny rivulets cut through the shore. Seaweed fronds, of different colours and shapes, offer a visual array and an added dimension. On a sunny day, tide pools reflect the azure sky, their surface breaking gently in the wind.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 3/4"”, 7 cm (slightly shorter if you pick Option A for earwires).
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
