Earrings - "Second Chances IV"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: All of the raw brass components in these earrings are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive. From the heavily hammered horseshoes, I suspended clusters of sunny yellow shell beads, and premium Czech glass faceted aqua blue beads. The earrings will sway gently as you move.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):
Option A - Kite Stainless Steel with plastic backs
OR
Option B - Almond Stainless Steel with closure - please select at CHECKOUT
There is large jar on a shelf in my workshop - it has a piece of Washi tape on it with a hurried scroll - “second chances”. Over the years, I have deposited into this jar pairs and singles of beads of various composition - from many sources, and in many sizes and shapes. These are beads I am not using at the time or have extras of - thinking I will use them one day. And then the spirit moves me and I do - because we all deserve second chances.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 3”, 7 1/2cm - slightly shorter if selecting Option A for earwires.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
