Earrings - "Restrained Abundance"
“Mother Nature seldom gives us perfectly straight lines or flawlessly shiny surfaces. Mother Nature is best at being raw, visceral and atmospheric.
These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I hand-hammered and altered mixed-metal rectangular connectors and suspended from them unique, premium Czech glass lantern beads. The tops and bottoms are covered with an earthy Picasso finish and in the middle is a faceted “slot”, revealing a rich, Cabernet red. O
The scratched metal is not sealed, meaning that it is raw and will continue to bloom. There may be very slight, exciting variations to the presentation of the natural patina, as you own the earrings. In a sense, the metal is alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):
