Earrings - "Poetry in Sand IV"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: These statement earrings do not shout - they whisper. Long and quietly sultry, they will sway gently as you move. All of the brass components are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

When the tide ebbs on Grand Manan Island, Mother Nature leaves amazing artworks on the wet sand - meandering lines, edges and textures, sandy maps of imaginary worlds under the ocean’s surface. Within hours, that world is submerged again but the memory of the moment remains - poetry in sand.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 3”, 7.6cm - slightly shorter if selecting Option B for earwires.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
