Earrings - "Dolphin Song II"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: These feminine dangle earrings feature different hues, shapes and textures. They whisper of summer breezes over the open expanse of the Bay of Fundy, where dolphins play. I have hammered and scratched the little raw brass shields for a more natural, authentic look. From them, I have suspended premium faceted Czech glass beads in beguiling shades of milky blue/green. All of the brass components are also covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering them with different natural ingredients and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

Like whales, dolphins are annual visitors to the Bay of Fundy and, therefore, Grand Manan Island.
