Earrings - "Deep in the Woods"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: All of the raw brass components in these earrings are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive. Accompanying the hammered brass are rough, genuine ancient Roman glass beads, in a lovely shade of deep green, like the deepest woods. The ancient glass is reminiscent of sea glass. The earrings will sway gently as you move.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):
Option A - Kite Stainless Steel with plastic backs
OR
Option B - Almond Stainless Steel with closure - please select at CHECKOUT
Grand Manan Island has a varied landscape that includes expansive woods, particularly in the central portions of the island. If you take a drive to Dark Harbour, on the western side, the road will wind and cut through rock formations, and you will encounter stunning vistas of the ocean peaking through tall conifers as you get closer to your destination. The woods are deep and unspoiled - a home to amazing fauna and flora - with so many shades of green that the eye cannot contain them.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 3”, 7 1/2cm - slightly shorter if selecting Option A for earwires.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
