Necklace - "Anticipating Spring"

This necklace was inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I paired milk-chocolate brown, Spring green and grey, slightly opalescent Japanese Miyuki ceramic beads with randomly placed quartz crystal cubes. The “pendant” at the bottom of the necklace comprises a clear “shard” of glass, a Roman glass green oval, excavated in Afghanistan, and a faceted piece of peach moonstone, all uneven and rugged. The glass edges have been filed off. On nylon thread - two strands on each side. There is no closure - the necklace ends in another glass bead and a little tassel.
Spring on Grand Manan Island is truly magical.
DIMENSIONS: Bead chain length: 33”, 84cm Pendant length: 3 1/4”, 8.5 cm
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the necklace. Doing so may alter the beads and thread. If the necklace gets wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
