Galaxy Shop - Wall Hanging or Mobile - "Poplar Galaxy"

This wall-hanging/mobile was inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: On a late afternoon last October, we walked along Whale Cove on Grand Manan Island and found these two pieces of driftwood and a piece of poplar bark, “beached” on the shore. I kept them together in this piece because I think they were meant to stay together. Using acrylics and watercolours, I painted an imaginary galaxy on the bark - a poplar galaxy…..Hanging on strong paper thread.
DIMENSIONS:
Length of piece (from the top of the thread loop to the bottom of the poplar bark - 13”, 33cm.
