TThis ring was inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I crocheted antique brass craft wire to create the band for this ocean-inspired ring. I then adorned it with Japanese Miyuki premium glass beads, in dreamy hues of light pink, aqua and blue/purple, some very lightly irridecent. The crochet weave is very organic - you will not see a pattern to it even through I kept to a stitch. This is because wire has a mind of its own and can only be guided, not controlled. Crocheting wire is a humbling experience.
Crocheted wire rings are delicate. Not paper-delicate but thin-wire-delicate. The band on the ring is soft so it will fit comfortably around your finger. That being said, I would not suggest wearing this ring every day if you want it to last for a very, very long time. The ring is not fragile - it is delicate, just like ocean and sea anemones.
DIMENSIONS: this ring is a SIZE 7 (using a standard ring mandrel)
Grand Manan Island is located in the Bay of Fundy - a rich ocean environment inhabited by an amazing variety of fauna and flora, including (of course!) marine life. This ring was inspired by the tenants of the very bottom of the ocean ~ amazing creatures dressing up the depths with their amazing colours and shapes.

Do not submerge the ring as that may alter it. If the ring gets wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
