Fairy Hair Slide - "Cerulean Joy"

This hair slide was inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts and by the unseen inhabitants of our forests and meadows.
COMPONENTS: I dressed up a bronze coloured hair clip with a spray of wire “twigs” ending in uneven turquoise beads. The twigs are made of oxidized copper wire.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from the top of the tallest twig to the bottom of the slide): 5 1/2”, 14 cm.
Slide length: 2 3/4”, 7cm
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Wire creations are delicate and fragile, particularly those made of thin wire. I suggest wearing this piece on special occasions rather than every day. Bending the wire repeatedly may cause it to break.
Do not submerge the hair slide. Doing so will alter the patina. If the slide gets wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
