Earrings - "Ochre Shores"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: Raw brass oval connectors of different sizes were scratched and altered for a more rustic, authentic feel. All of the components (other than the earwires) are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering them with different natural ingredients and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

The hues in these earrings are so representative of the shores of Grand Manan Island. The colours include shades of ochre - among rocks and stones, lichens and seaweed exposed by the endless cycle of tides.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 3/8”, 6cm - slightly longer if selecting Option B for earwires.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
