Earrings - "Blackberry Lea"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts. She offers is her gifts expecting nothing in return, except our love.
COMPONENTS: Demure duster dangles of hammered metal tone brass connectors and raw brass circles suspend charming, beguiling faceted premium Czech glass teardrops in an incredible shade of heather/blackberrry with faint milky inclusions. The raw brass circles are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering them with natural ingredients and leaving them in the open, salty air of the island to “age”. The patina is untreated meaning it will alter over time, as if it were alive….
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):
Option A - Kite Stainless Steel with plastic backs
OR
Option B - Almond Stainless Steel with closure - please select at CHECKOUT
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 3 3/4”, 9.5 cm - slightly shorter if selecting Option A for earwires.
Blackberries grow throughout Grand Manan Island. In Spring, they fill the landscape with charming while flowers and fresh-green leaves. Later in Summer, they charm with their fruit ~ one we eat right off the bushes at Fernleigh Ridge. There is a lea of blackberries just off our workshop - their leaves also serve as delicious snacks for the deer.

Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue
