FERNLEIGH RIDGE IS BOTH A PLACE AND AN IDEA.

 

The PLACE - unspoiled, rugged, remote, atmospheric, visceral, spiritual and grounding - is an ongoing inspiration for the IDEA and the creations flowing from it - weathered, imperfect, uneven, tarnished, sensual, earthy and …..real.

The name of the Place originates with the Eastern Hay-scented Ferns (Dennstaedtia punctilobula (Michx.) T. Moore) that populate the property, a ridge overlooking the ocean.
