Earrings - "Tide Pool"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: The starring role in these dramatic earrings goes to irregular brass shapes (1 1/2, 3.7cm long) to which I applied heavy Grand Manan patina - I coated them with natural ingredients and left them in the open, salty air at the Island. I suspended these “tide pools” from slender brass connectors.
These earrings will sway gently as you move, in a natural, sensual way.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):
Option A - Kite Stainless Steel with plastic backs

Option B - Almond Stainless Steel with closure - please select at CHECKOUT
Grand Manan Island experiences very dramatic tides, twice a day. When the ocean ebbs, it reveals a world unseen when the tide is high. Tide pools are visible at the shore, filled with ocean fauna and flora.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 3 1/4”, 8.3 cm (slightly longer if you pick Option B for earwires).
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings. Doing so will alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
