Earrings - "Sunset at Deep Cove II"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I paired ceramic donut beads, covered in an amazing rusty red and aqua glaze, with copper dangles, heavy in patina. I wrapped these components in oxidized copper wire. Hanging on stainless steel, handmade earwires.
The earrings are not perfectly identical and also not perfectly symmetrical - they mimic Mother Nature’s wonderful irregularity and authenticity. Despite their visual “heft”, these earrings are also surprisingly light.
The southern part of Grand Manan Island is a very special place - more remote than the north and very authentic. A great area to view a sunset, including the red and rusty skies over Deep Cove Beach.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 1/4”, 5.7 cm.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings. Doing so may alter the patina on the wire and the ceramic beads. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
