Earrings - "Summer Horizon"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I hand-altered brass ovals, heavy in a silvertone patina - I holed, scratched and hammered them for a more natural look. The vertical lines are to suggest waters on the horizon, like the sparkling Bay of Fundy in the summer. From these I suspended dangles of square titanium quartz heishi beads, in a brilliant electric blue hue. Hanging on stainless steel, handmade earwires.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 1 3/4”, 4.5 cm.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings. Doing so may alter the patina and the beads. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
