Earrings - "Seagull Oasis"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I added texture to metal and brass round connectors by puncturing and hammering them. From the lower circles, I suspended dangles of rough glass barrel beads, in hues of azure and aqua blue, deep green and faintly purple. This is Roman glass - ancient glass mined in Afghanistan. Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires.
When you visit Long Pond on Grand Manan Island at the height of summer, you will see flocks of seagulls bathing in the fresh water, flapping their wings and taking short, almost vertical flights. An amazing, invigorating sight.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 1/2”, 6.2cm.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
