Earrings - "Pettes Cove Beach"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: Heavily patinated blue copper hoops, slightly egg-shaped for more authenticity, suspend brass triangles that were patiently, and over time, patinated with natural ingredients. The process was completed on Grand Manan, in open air. The bottoms of the triangles suspend solid brass dangles. Hanging on stainless steel, handmade earwires.
If you have ever walked on Pettes Cove Beach, you know how incredibly colourful and patterned the stones are. These earrings were inspired by that seemingly endless variety.
The brass is not sealed, meaning that it is raw and will continue to bloom. There may be very slight, exciting variations to the presentation of the patina, as you own the earrings. In a sense, the metal is alive.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 1/2”, 6.5 cm.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings. Doing so will alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
