Earrings - "Full Moon over Dark Harbour"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I hammered slender raw brass hoops and inside them, I suspended raw brass circles. Both are covered in heavy Grand Manan patina - the result of applying to them different natural ingredients and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the island to “age”. Finished off with tiny brass teardrop dangles. Hanging on stainless steel, handmade earwires.
Dark Harbour on Grand Manan Island is an amazing, somewhat mysterious location loved by many. A number of its residents live off the grid and all practice a certain reverence for being unique and even different. Rich in history and heritage.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) approx. 1 7/8”, 4.8cm.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
